Have you been writing on your topic so much that you feel like you've exhausted all of your ideas? Do you think you've covered pretty much every aspect of your topic in every way, shape and form?
If so, I can totally understand. It is challenging to write on one topic repeatedly! When you're writing free reprint articles, you need to keep producing fresh, new, enlightening content. Could you use a little help?
That's where this guide to article marketing comes in. Templates are endlessly helpful when it comes to getting a person out of a writing slump. They stimulate your creativity and force you to think about your subject from a different perspective.
Here are 5 extremely useful templates that will jump start your article marketing campaign:
1 - "The Historical Person Template"
If your mind has gone numb trying to think of article topics related to your niche, this is the template you want to use. Take a break from the modern world and journey back into history.
Pick one of your favourite historical figures and research some famous quotes that he or she has made. Then, take that figure and those famous quotes and find a way to relate them to your topic. It makes your brain do a somersault, but I promise you that if you think creatively enough you can make a correlation. What does Mark Twain have to do with business coaching? What does Winston Churchill have to do with blogging? The quotes you choose will help a connection develop. Then title the article [Historical Person's] Guide To [Your Topic].
2 - "The Newbie's Guide Template"
Sometimes the most forgotten audience for your topic is newcomers--people who might be interested in your subject matter but just need some very basic initial information. In your article, give a very basic overview of your niche, and assume that your reader has no knowledge of your topic. Be sure to explain to your reader the benefits of your niche, and keep things as simple as possible. Some possible titles are:
[Your Subject] 101
Intro To [Your Topic]
The Newbie's Guide to [Your Topic]
3 - "The Most Common Mistakes Template"
You'll see "Top Tips" articles all over the net, but what about focusing on some of the most common mistakes you see in your field? This article should be written with a very encouraging attitude, and solutions should be offered for all of the mistakes that you list. Sometimes people don't realize what they shouldn't be doing until they see someone writing about it. Imagine how many people you can help by writing about common blunders that people make in your niche.
4 - "The How To Article"
Articles that teach readers how to do something are the most popular types of articles on the web. Think of something very basic that your readers could benefit from learning about your niche, and develop an article that gives very clear and practical steps for how to achieve it.
5 - "The Numbered List Article"
Readers absolutely love articles that contain numbered lists. Why? They're just plain easier to read. At a glance you can glean important nuggets of information without having to tax your brain too much. Your assignment for this template is to come up with some type of list having to do with your niche. The list should be numbered, and it's a great idea to include the number in your title.
Are you feeling inspired yet? You can even use these article templates more than once, and sometimes just by pondering some of the ideas above you can come up with ideas for several new articles. Why don't you take a break from thinking of article topics, and use one of the templates above as a guide to help come up with some fresh ideas?
